G.M. Recalling 53,000 Cars for Fuel Leak
General Motors is recalling almost 53,000 Chevrolet Cobalts, Saturn Ions and Pontiac G5s because a fuel leak could cause a fire.
The automaker told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it will replace the fuel-pump module on cars used in states with weather hot enough to cause the problem.
The recall covers 2006 Cobalts and Ions in Arizona and Nevada. It also includes 2007 Cobalts, Ions and G5s in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada and Texas. – Christopher Jensen

Hertz Appoints Car Rental President for the Americas
Hertz Global Holdings, Inc today announced that Scott P. Sider, currently President, Off-Airport Operations, will succeed Joseph R. Nothwang as the Company's senior executive leading the car rental and leasing businesses in the Americas.
